Jackie's Memoir

Well, when my teacher told our class to write one of these memoirs, all I could think was, "those are lame!". But now that I am, I'm realizing how wonderful they really are. Writing this makes me think about all of the great times at this school. It is so crazy how fast my 8th grade year has gone by. And now promotion is tomorrow. This school and these teachers are going to be a huge boost to the future and I plan on doing big things. So I wanted to say thank you to all of my teachers for putting up with me.

I had so much fun this year. I was apart of so many things like ASB, Yearbook, College Bowl, and Drill Team (3 years). I loved being a part of this school. I was given a chance to meet a lot of amazing people. I have so many memories, friends, inside jokes, and crazy experiences. (So far this sounds really cliché and cheesy but it's coming from the heart.)

Some of my greatest memories, because I can't just choose one, are like the following: Making a fake soap opera with one of my greatest friends Kayla in 6th grade, acting a little naughty with William, Nick, Hunter, Jared, and one of my best friends Ashley in Mr. Palmer and Mr. Klemperer's class, rolling on the floor laughing so hard tears flow out with one of my best friends Vanessa at Dave and Buster's, singing songs with Jennyce and Kayla (our karaoke days), running for president against my dear friend Cashman and complaining because I lost to him, complimenting how pretty Brianna is every minute of the day, talking politics with Cynjun and sometimes Cashman, trying to jump over the trashcan with Norlent and Eric, just talking with Ms. Lewis in the morning, laughing it up with Kassandra and Karissa, performing at Drill competitions, eating, and goofing off at the lunchtime activities with everyone. I have a gazillion more memories and things to say but I don't have that much time. Sorry.

I can't believe this. It's over. I'll miss everyone who's going to Valley. Don't think that because you weren't mentioned that you weren't special to me. Because you were. Everyone meant so much to me. I'll be at Canyon. I just made the JV Cheer team and ASB. Ummm...I was going to say some other stuff, but I forgot. Oops. Well...Don't forget me or any of our times. You, (you all know who you are) are my family and you always will be. Friends come and go, but family is forever. I love you all.
